Left-Click on a coin to spin it

You are tasked with gathering enough coins before the timer runs off.

And you've got just two coins to start with.

Right-click on a coin to sell it and buy a card that can win you more coins!
I really think you should choose the "bet on heads", it's my favorite.

also for some reason bar ultima and succes

another good combo

found an op combo, all bet and chaos fix

you win in 5 or 6 spins

nice!
Yes, Chaos Fix can make it so you get tails all the time. But it only works 50% of the time since Chaos Fix can also make it so it always lands heads. Good combo but risky

it’s kind of uncomfortable to play this with a trackpad. dunno how much that can be helped but figured i’d make sure the dev knows about it.

Thx for the feedback! Can you also specify which actions are uncomfortable to do with a trackpad?

(+1)

sure!

spinning coins when you’ve got a lot of them and don’t have the upgrade that let’s them spin automatically. it requires repeatedly moving the cursor and then clicking; would probably be easier on the hands and wrists if it just required moving, or even just clicking (although just moving would be better).

selling coins used to be similarly uncomfortable. it’s now a non-issue due to the new feature where you can immediately buy the next upgrade as long as you have enough coins; i suggest mentioning this feature in the game description (i only learned it after playing a few games and getting told about it in a game over or win screen).

Thank you for the info!
Btw, have you encountered the "bell" buff? It makes it so you need to jiggle a coin to get more. So no clicking but more moving, i wonder if it's easier

(+1)

i haven’t tried that out. my guess is that it would be pretty easy on the hands/wrists. there’s still the need to keep the finger pressed down, but that’s the case with a mouse as well, and regardless i don’t feel like it’d be too inconvenient. gonna test that upgrade the next time i get it.

Having entertainment and factory premium spawns lotta coins

congrats, you found a combo!
Not the strongest one tho, it only spawns coins until a coin lands

Fun concept, but there needs to be a way to quickly drag multiple coins, or click on them to add them. The time goes down too fast (is it tied to the refresh rate / FPS? I’m running at 165Hz). There is no way I’m able to drag 60 coins in the time I had. I’ve included a gif of the time going down.

ye, rn everything (coin spins too) is tied to fps.
You have a faster timer but also coins land faster.

Rn you can press space to pause the game.
In the future, I'll tie everything to actual time.

The game was  updated and some of the problems you had should be resolved.
Good luck on your runs!

Fun game, the lag gets frustrating when you have a bunch of spinning coins, unfortunately stacks wouldnt work with some upgrades, particularly collapse. Also, Factory Premium can cause issues, especially with Collapse where it grinds the game to basically freezing.

It would also be really nice to be able to select multiple coins to pay, once you get above like 10 it can be really tedious to pull that many individual coins.

Thx!

After the jam is over I'll upload more optimized version.

The tedious paying problem will be solved too, but idk how yet.

Also I'll do some rebalancing now that I know more about how the game works

Thx for playing! Stay tuned

If you still encounter unplayable lag lvls please inform me.

Good luck on your runs!

Great game! I really like timed incrementals.

Game gets laggy at hight coin counts. Maybe the ability to stack can help?

ex. press X to tack all empty / heads / tails into piles. that have a single collision box.

Which you can drag to spend in a pile, instead of needing to drag 100 coins.

Thx! I've considered stacks and piles but I'm not sure how to implement it.

I did improved optimisation to the point the lag is hardly a problem. But I can't update the game till 31st since it participates in a jam.

Thx for playing and the comment!

A good idea could be to make it so you wont get duplicates of certain cards, like Slam or Factory Premium

i did implement that but it doesn't work for some reason and i didn't have time to debug.

I would say the bigger problem is lag. If you have more than 30 coins spinning, it becomes a slideshow. I'll work on that first

The game was updated, now you can't get duplicates.
Also, while testing i found out that both Slam or Factory Premium are sometimes useful when you have 2 of them.
Luckily, the new card "clone" lets you duplicate the effect of those cards.

Good luck on your runs!

Once you get the mechanics, it's a fun game, I really liked it.

Dragging coins is pretty tedious though, If I could sell by right clicking, it would be a big improvement

wow, the right-click sell is a brilliant solution, still keeps the player busy but makes it less finicky

Thx!

The game was updated, now you can just right-click coins to sell them!

I feel dumb that it took me a minute to figure out u need to click on the coin to spin it :D  i kept restarting the game lol

Very interesting concept!
This could make a very fun mobile game, much easier to click with your fingers.

Is there any way to automatically insert the coins to a slot?  at some point i didnt have the strength to drag 64 coins in :D

Got to 271! nice job

Don't feel dumb, it's not intuitive. I was planning to put a big "click on the coin to spin" in the middle of the board, but time was running out so i didn't do that.

I've thought that it wouldn't work as a mobile game since the big part is seeing the coin clutter. But now that i think about maybe it'll work if the focus shifts to the tactile and sound feedback. it would be nice to feel the vibration as you spin the coin.

Also, good point about dragging! I'm thinking in the future i'll make it so you can click and hold on the buy space and coins would fly in one by one. It does have a design purpose of keeping the player busy and giving another choice of "should i just farm coins, or should i go for another buff"

Thx for playing!

The game was updated! Now coins have lil "click" icon on them so thx for the feedback.
Still not compatible with mobile but has more cards and stuff.
Good luck on your runs!
